With the Bridge burnt down the adventurers shortest route is to travel south

A The Gryphon Knights encampment is setup in the The Whispering Forest when the adventurers approach the encampment they will see that its riddled with arrows, there are a few knights around tired and injured.

The knights will recognize Dorian the former captain of one of the regiments. They will at first mock him for losing the battle until a knight tells them to cut it out, Dorian will recognize this knight as Corporal Torryn one of the survivors of his old regiment.

The adventurers will learn that The Gryphon Knights have been hired by a Noble in Sigil to clear out the wood elves in The Whispering Forest. So far they have been having issues dealing with the elves, they are fast and nimble and attack at range. The Gryphon Knights have requested for reinforcements but they are unsure when they will receive them.

Corporal Torryn will ask Dorian to go on a scouting mission for them to find the other members of their regiment and their Captain Grimes

If the adventurers decide to abandon The Gryphon Knights and continue on the road the wood elves will attack them thinking they are apart of The Gryphon Knights

The adventurers can persuade the elves to not attack and talk to them otherwise If the wood elves are losing they will lay down their weapons and beg for mercy

The wood elves will state that they are The Whispering Wardens and have lived in the woods for centuries without bothering anyone they don't know why The Gryphon Knights have decided to attack them, we are simple clan of elves that heals and protects these woods, upon learning Exileds name they will apologize as they were told you would be coming by the Venra Firspark they will offer to take you to their camp. if the adventurers refused but have stated they are looking for men of The Gryphon Knights they will tell them where abouts they are.
